So, today I want to let you know about green methods of killing bed bugs – that don’t involve poison or chemicals. Here is a quick recap of alternate, green methods:

• Steam: Steam is a great way to kill bed bugs. Now, just to clarify, we aren’t taking about steam for a shower, but rather the hot steam produced by a steam cleaner. Steam cleaners produce steam that can get to about 210 degrees. This high temperature kills bed bugs and their eggs – instantly! Just apply the steam to mattress covers, pillows, or other potential bed bug hiding places.
